Infant Care in Hougang
We are preparing a dedicated infant care programme at our Hougang centre, Blk 926 Hougang Street 91. The space is ready and our licence application is with ECDA. Join the waitlist and we will contact you the moment we can accept enrolments.
Please note: our infant care programme is pending ECDA licensing and is not yet accepting enrolments. Joining the waitlist places no obligation on you and does not guarantee a place. We will be in touch as soon as we are licensed to open.
What to Expect
Ages 2 to 18 Months
A dedicated infant space, separate from our childcare classrooms, designed around sleeping, feeding and safe exploration.
Small Groups
Infant care requires closer ratios than childcare, so your baby is with the same familiar faces every day.
Straight into Playgroup
At 18 months your child moves up to our Playgroup at the same centre — same teachers nearby, same familiar building, no new settling in.
Open 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
The same weekday hours as our childcare programme, at Blk 926 Hougang Street 91.
Infant Care Fees & Subsidies
Infant care attracts a higher subsidy than childcare. Here is roughly how it works for a Partner Operator (POP) centre.
| Your situation | Basic Subsidy | Additional Subsidy | You pay, roughly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Working mother, household income $6,000 or below | $600 | up to $710 | from about $40 |
| Working mother, income $6,001 – $9,000 | $600 | about $310 – $520 | about $170 – $380 |
| Working mother, income $9,001 – $12,000 | $600 | about $60 – $270 | about $420 – $630 |
| Working mother, income above $12,000 | $600 | not eligible in 2026 | about $690 |
| Non-working mother | $150 | not usually eligible | about $1,140 |
Estimates, not quotes. The POP infant care fee cap is $1,290 a month (excluding GST). Your actual subsidy is assessed by ECDA based on household income, working status and family size.
Check your figure with the official ECDA subsidy calculator.
Figures current as at 6 September 2026.
Getting cheaper: the subsidy income ceiling rises to $15,000 on 1 January 2027, and at the National Day Rally 2026 the Government said infant care fees will fall progressively from 2028 to around $300 a month by 2030. Read more →
